The guy on site was really helpful. He always answered when I called with questions, and they checked in about my arrival time on the day after I'd changed plans and forgotten to tell them. Communication was good and they seemed on the ball. For £79 a night, two bedrooms in a large apartment was hard to complain about. It was well equipped, with towels and linen provided, though you'll need a tea towel. The dustpan had a spoon where the brush should've been. The place could've used a clean and some paint. My son found the sofa bed just about okay for one night. Parking was secure, with a small car park and plenty of street parking outside. There's a little shop right next door. We had a ground floor flat by the front door, which slammed and woke us early. People seemed to come and go late and early, perhaps because working people use the apartments regularly. Upstairs might be quieter. Without the young kids we'd have walked to the docks, but with them we didn't.

I left my coat and spare car keys in a wardrobe by accident and drove back for them. The staff had taken the keys, even though they'd told me the day before they had them. There were bare wires hanging out of the wall, which seemed electrically dangerous, and the place is too far from the town centre to be convenient. Avoid.

It was close to where we needed to be and fairly well located. The facilities were okay, though the TV didn't seem to work and the WiFi was unreliable. I didn't book with high expectations, so I can't say I was hugely disappointed.

We arrived on Saturday for Liverpool Vs Chelsea at Anfield, only to be told Arinza apartments no longer did stays. We'd spent €480 on flights and one night's accommodation. The owner was extremely rude and didn't care about our situation, just told us to leave. We were stranded all night and missed the first half of the game. Disaster apartments is more like it. I'd give this dive 0/5 if I could. Avoid at all costs.

The owner was welcoming, kind, and great with customer service. The apartment itself needed work, though: the bed was broken and the fridge was dirty.
