Bloomsbury House - Modern studios near Anfield

The place was clean and nice, and the instructions were easy to follow. It was also well located for the event we attended at the Olympia. The downside was being in a downstairs room: the hall's automatic lights came on whenever someone entered, shining into our room, and the people upstairs were so noisy that we left around 6am. Carpeting the upstairs rooms might help quieten footsteps.

The room itself was very comfortable, and the amenities were great: tea, coffee, a kettle, microwave, hob, fridge-freezer, and a TV with Netflix, Amazon and more. The bathroom was nice, too. It's in a residential area, but I didn't find it run down or scary. We walked back from our event and felt perfectly safe. An Uber there cost £5, and there are plenty of buses nearby. It's also a good spot for getting into the city centre. We lost a star because of the noise. The people above us were really loud, and the hall lights kept switching on and off. Carpeting upstairs might reduce the noise, and a seal around the door could help with the light. We left early after hearing people hammering on a door, then making a lot of noise upstairs. I can't say how they got locked out, but we had no trouble getting in and used the front door three times. I would consider staying again.

The place was very clean, with free street parking in a residential area. Other guests in the house were noisy, and carpet upstairs might help with that. We had a late checkout, but the cleaners came into our room and woke us up. Quite a shock.
