It was my first time there, and everyone was so friendly and caring that I felt comfortable and less anxious. I had a really amazing experience. Thanks!

Very cheap, with racking staff and punters.

It’s a local pub and won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s definitely mine. The staff are lovely, and the locals are lovely people too. xxx

I loved going there in the late 80s and up to 2005. I’d love to know whether any of the people I knew still drink there: Roy and Lynn, Paul and Denise, Brian Martin, Julie and Jimmy, Andy, Frank Cardy, Mick Docherty, and others whose names I can’t remember. Thanks.

Boss pub when Leroy turns up with 3 for 30. Came in around 12:00am after being glassed at the Legion in Fazackerley. A beautiful blonde from Norway cleaned me up in the bog, and some fella took pity on me and shared his big bag of YAYO. Lovely touch. I drank so much I had to go the ozzy for detox. Ask them to turn the heating up and they will.
