Epic Apart Hotel - Seel Street

This place might work for a younger couple wanting to be near bars, but I absolutely wouldn't recommend it to families. It's on the first floor at the end of an alley full of bars, and the noise was bad. People were talking loudly right below us at 4am, and I dread to think how noisy it would be on a weekend. The property advertises a stay for four, but when our family arrived only one bed was made up. We called the provided number and got a rude, dismissive response. We were told to make up the sofa bed ourselves and look for linen in a cupboard. We've stayed in plenty of hotels with fold-out beds, and had never been expected to do that before. When we opened it, the mattress was shockingly thin and visibly stained. It was late, so moving to another hotel wasn't an option. Sleeping on it was the most uncomfortable night we've ever had. The mattress sagged badly in the middle, and we could feel the metal bars through our backs. Even our 11-year-old said it felt like sleeping on a hill all night. This shouldn't be marketed as a place for four.

We came for a girls' weekend and stayed in on Saturday night. If I'd known how loud the music from the bar next door, which is attached to the building, would be, I'd have gone out or gone home! The rooms actually vibrate, and it was unbelievably loud. These are party apartments, so you won't sleep until the clubs close at 4am. Only stay on a weekend if you're not planning to be in the room at night. It isn't suitable for families or even for a quiet night in 🤣

The place was perfect for staying and having fun, just wonderful! My daughter's birthday really was the best one. Clean place, nice team, and a good location. Thanks, Epic!

The beds are great, the flats are roomy, and the shower's good too. But they keep emailing every day for what seems like no reason. There's no air con, so hot nights can be rough, and some of the other guests weren't very considerate about people trying to sleep.
