Liverpool at Cable Yard - Infinity Apartments

We paid more than £500 for less than 48 hours, but there was a very large wasps' nest on the balcony roof, so we couldn't use the balcony. In one bedroom the window handle was broken, and the handles had come off the door and were lying on the floor. The lock had been removed, so the door wouldn't shut. Several bathroom cupboard hinges were broken too, leaving its door unable to close properly and exposing a grubby duvet. The door beside the toilet hadn't been cleaned in a while, and neither had the kitchen cupboard doors. The apartment's front door looked like thin plywood and, in our view, was unlikely to meet fire regulations. We emailed the owners several times about these problems. They usually seem quick to defend themselves, but we got no reply directly or to our review on booking.com. It felt like cynical profiteering and complete disregard for guests' welfare.
