Mischief Liverpool

The central Liverpool location was about the only real positive for our hen do. It was very expensive for individuals sharing a room, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There were no tea or coffee facilities, despite several reviews mentioning them. Apart from a few hooks by the entrance, there was nowhere to store clothes or hang anything, not even a towel in the bathroom. The hot tub ran all night with no way to switch it off. It was as noisy as a washing machine on a constant cycle, and the water didn’t look especially clean. In some rooms the fridge didn’t seem to work, and the air conditioning in one room was broken. Nobody replied when we asked about repairs. There was old chewing gum stuck to the floor, and pulling the blind cord left my hands orange from the dirt. The website says staff and security are there 24/7, but we didn’t see anyone during our two-night stay. Booking.com has lots of reviews that say only “exceptional,” which isn’t helpful, and it’s odd that so many use that same word. There weren’t any reviews on the official website either.
