Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village

Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant had a good range of choices too. I had a superb three-night stay, with an excellent room and courteous, attentive staff throughout. The front-of-house team gave me a warm welcome and set a positive tone from the start. I can’t fault the experience, will definitely return, and will highly recommend it to anyone visiting Liverpool.

The hotel was modern, sleek, and exceptionally clean, and I loved my stay. My room on a higher floor had breathtaking panoramic views of the city, Liverpool university, and the cathedrals. It was spacious, with a super comfortable bed and high-end Rituals toiletries. They also provide mineral water cans here, something the Novotel Leicester didn’t offer when I stayed last week. This location is more convenient and quieter than the other Novotel Liverpool City Center. It’s still an easy 15-minute walk into the city center, with a nice chance to pass by the university and cathedrals, while being far enough away to feel peaceful at night. Highly recommend.

We were there for one night for a University interview, and the staff knew why we’d come and kindly pointed us in the right direction. They were helpful and kind, and the hotel and spacious room were very clean. Breakfast had lots of delicious choices. It’s a beautiful hotel, more than a home from home. Slippers and body lotion would be nice additions, but otherwise it was five stars all the way.

Marina at reception was lovely. I was travelling alone for the first time to take a short course at the uni, and she kindly and politely sorted out my room and helped me feel at ease. I can’t thank her enough. The room was spacious and lovely, with a kettle, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and fridge. Breakfast was great, with both continental and cooked options. I tried both over the three days, and everything was cleanly presented and tasted good. No complaints there. On my first night I was too tired to go out, so I ordered room service. The fish and chips were delicious, with a nice big fresh fish, chunky chips, and lovely sauces. My only niggle was the pillows. I prefer rectangular ones, but these were square and puffed up around my head when I lay on them. I was tired enough to sleep anyway. The location is ideal. Parking was a two-minute walk away, and the hotel lobby reduced my parking charge before I left, a great plus. I’d definitely come back.
