The shared accommodation stays quiet, with only three rooms on each of its three floors, unlike some nearby hostels. CCTV monitors access to the facility and all floors, there’s a helpful concierge available 24 hours, and the fire control and prevention setup is outstanding. Rooms are clean, with a nice bathroom, modern decor, blinds, laminate floors, double glazing, a good view, a smart TV, and adequate internet. Cleaners come daily, change towels and empty bins, and handle extra cleaning requests. The rooms get a deeper clean weekly. For getting around, it’s a five-minute walk from Home and Bargain and Costco, both excellent-value supermarkets, with an Asda pretty close in smithdown and a 24-hour garage round the corner on Vulcan street. Town centre, Liverpool Docks, and all the tourist attractions are a 15-minute walk away. I can’t compliment the setup enough. Downsides: the shower is a little weak, my laptop table wobbles a bit, and there isn’t much storage, so it suits backpackers or people with few possessions. The pretty cleaners don’t speak much English, so I’m afraid a date is nigh improbable.
