Premier Inn Liverpool City Centre - Moorfields

We had two beds, and the room was spotless with no issues at all. Leo downstairs in the foyer was genuinely kind and went way beyond what we expected to help us. There are several nearby shops that provided 24-hour service during our stay. I want to call out Leo's customer service in particular. Thanks to everyone for the stay.

The staff were kind, but the hotel and rooms were much dirtier than other Premier Inns I've stayed in across the country. Our room was dusty and dirty, the bathroom had mould, and there was a terrible smell in the hallway. At breakfast there was a pile of rotten bananas. Maybe some staff aren't paying enough attention, or perhaps there just aren't enough of them. I gave one star to bring the cleanliness issues to management's attention. The area has important tourist attractions, but there are also a lot of questionable people around in the evening.

The place was spotless, and the staff were incredible. Zoe, or Zoey, I'm not sure which spelling is right, was so polite and gave exceptional service. Callum made us delicious dinners and topped them off with a lovely birthday treat for my Fiancé. They turned a good stay into an exceptional one. 😁

We stayed one night for my wife's birthday and paid for early check-in, but the room wasn't ready. To their credit, reception helped us get a room. The service from some staff was disappointing, though, as they could be very flat and dry. The room was okay but could have been better. Breakfast staff were nice, fair play, but the unlimited breakfast itself was dry, hard and not nice at all. I've worked at Premier Inn before, and I won't be back any time soon. The service was poor, and I'd avoid it.
