The Castle Collection - 25 Castle Street

I left immediately and am now trying to sort things out through Booking.com. It was absolutely appalling, and I’d never stay here again. I was at one of their other sites on Castle street. After one night, I found black mould on the towels and asked to check out early without being charged for the remaining nights. They said they’d bring new towels, but if I left, they’d still keep the full amount and give no refund. I explained that black mould is a contaminant, and new towels wouldn’t remove the bacteria it emits. They said someone would come in 20 minutes, but it took an hour. The person arrived with replacement towels, handed them over and barely said a word. When I called again, they said they’d given me new towels and that was all they would do. They said they’d keep my money if I left.

We loved every minute of our stay and made use of the available late checkout. The building is absolutely stunning, and the modern apartments are just as impressive, with everything you’d need for a stay of any length. The location is amazing too, just a short walk from mathew street, where there’s a row of pubs with live music and a great atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants and takeaways nearby.

We had a fabulous birthday stay and everything went smoothly, including check-in and checkout. The place is just around the corner from the centre and the docks, and the customer service was great. Our deposit came back the day after we left. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone going there.

The apartment and location were belting. There was a bit of noise from the pubs putting out recycling around 1am, but hey ho.
