The Docklands 2

We were moved into a much larger house next door because of maintenance issues. The location was handy, about a 30-minute walk to Albert Docks, and the area didn’t feel unsafe, even though it was grubby and industrial, beside a busy Garage and Antiques centre. The street outside had rubbish spilling from unemptied wheelie bins, and there was nowhere to put our rubbish because the bins were full. The house felt more suited to parties than relaxing. It was like a labyrinth, with benches instead of living room sofas, and every floorboard creaked loudly. Communication was okay, though the guy replying to texts could have been more helpful. The AirBNB listing needs updating: there’s no on-premises parking, only on-street parking or off-street parking across a dual carriageway.
