The Old Dairy Guest House

I booked two nights for my father recently, and he was really happy with his stay. Michelle and David were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was quiet, very clean and in a great location. It's good value and had everything he could need. I'd strongly recommend the Old Dairy to any relative or friend visiting next time.

Michelle, the owner and receptionist, was spectacular. The room was clean and quiet, with a really spacious bed for two, and we had our own bathroom and fresh, clean towels from Michelle. The neighborhood is quiet, with lots of little corner shops around, and it was ideal for a few days of budget-friendly urban relaxation. We got exactly what we needed, so it's a 5/5 from me.

Michelle and David treated us like family. They sorted our transport for race days, checked how the marathon was going and made sure we finished safely. The breakfast had a fantastic variety, with plenty of choice before and after my marathon, and we could use the kitchen at other times. The place was spotless, in a quiet residential area, with comfortable beds and pillows. I'm a chronic insomniac, but slept excellently for all three nights. There was heating and fans, tea and coffee facilities, and a great shower with lots of hot water. It's 10-15 minutes into town by bus and amazing value. Can't wait to go back for a fun weekend without a long run, and see them again!

The best part of our birthday weekend was Michelle and David. They're fabulous hosts, couldn't do enough for us, and the banter was right up our alley. The place was lovely and clean, the beds were very comfortable, breakfast had everything we needed, and getting to the city centre was easy. We stayed three nights to watch the Grand National, and will definitely be back. Thanks for making my birthday weekend so special 💙
