The village is lovely, and this B&B feels like a real hidden gem right in its heart. We stayed five nights while visiting the area for my mum’s 90th. Susan and Steve were wonderful hosts, always happy to help. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast came with loads of choice and generous portions. We’d definitely come back if we’re in the area again.

A good base between Leeds and Bradford, with a nice view from the room and free parking. It has a traditional B&B feel, and we slept really well in the comfortable, clean room. The USB sockets were handy too. Sue was friendly and accommodating. She mentioned ours was the last room to be renovated, which we could see, but it didn’t take away from a lovely stay.

We stayed two nights in a twin room, and it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. The owners were so warm and friendly. It’s a small, cosy lodge, just right for me and my friend, and breakfast was really tasty. At £9, it was very good value. I’d stay again without hesitation.

Sue made us feel welcome and was helpful with tips about the area. We were there with friends for a local birthday party, and the clean, comfortable rooms were lovely. Breakfast was first class. We’ll be back.
