The big rooms and free parking were pluses, though you have to register each day using a QR code. The shower is over the bath, which was fine, but the shower gel dispenser came apart every time it was pressed or knocked. The toilet barely flushed. I stayed two nights for work and usually use a nearby Premier Inn, though there's not much to eat close by. This Travelodge was recommended because it's near the town centre. I paid for Wi-Fi as part of the room package, but the speed test showed 0.18mb, so I had to tether my laptop to my phone. Shocking. The manager offered a £3.50 refund. The breakfast to go is a con, you're better off getting food elsewhere. In short, look elsewhere.

After a five-hour journey, all I wanted was an easy check-in, and Moira made that happen. I was first given a room with two single beds, but she handled the change to a double room very professionally so I could sleep as comfortably as possible. Moira went above and beyond and deserves recognition. Thank you again, Moira.

I stayed Saturday 6th with my daughter. There was no soap in the shower dispenser, and we only found out once I was already in the shower, so there was nothing we could do. The room was very basic, though functional, and far too expensive for what we got. We could have stayed somewhere much nicer for the same price. I'm not impressed with Travelodge in general and wouldn't stay again.

Travelodge Livingston was a convenient, stress-free place to stay while my friends and I visited Edinburgh for the New Year fireworks. The designer outlet next door was a bonus, and the car park was easy to validate on our phones. The receptionist who checked us in was really friendly and helped us with the local taxi number and extra amenities.

I don't believe a hotel in 2026 should give customers only 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi a day. What does it cost you to provide completely free Wi-Fi instead? Travelodge, that's a real downgrade to your service.
