The evening platters are delicious and a must, and we’d happily go back soon. We’ve just had another brief overnight visit to Guidfa, having really enjoyed earlier stays. It’s set amid lovely scenery, with good road links close by. We were warmly welcomed and had a delightful room, where the double aspect windows made the most of the far-reaching views. I’d recommend walking in the Elan Valley, with routes to suit all abilities.

Anne and Tony are wonderful hosts, always ready to help. The guesthouse is quiet, beautiful and friendly, and very handy for Llandrindod Wells and the surrounding area. Rooms are tastefully furnished, and the homecooked breakfasts are delicious. Highly recommended.

The freshly baked croissant at 8am, the local produce, books and thoughtful interior details all added to the atmosphere at Guidfa House. The hosts’ hospitality made it a UNIQUE experience. I’d be absolutely delighted to come back with my wife or friends.

We booked this lovely place on Friday 24/6 for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. It’s a friendly, family-run guest house with great ensuite rooms and stunning countryside views. Breakfast was good, with various homemade produce. The location also makes it a brilliant base for exploring Wales, with most places reachable within an hour and a half.
