I booked very late, and for what I paid this was exceptional. The beds were mega comfy, so I slept like a baby all week. The house was clean and well maintained, with two sitting rooms, a well equipped kitchen, Netflix and almost everything else you could need. It’s a short walk along the river to a lovely village with excellent pubs, and an easy drive to beaches, mountains and towns. I also had some excellent runs to waterfalls and into the Snowdonia National Park straight from the house. You can walk to Shell Island too.

We loved 'the Stable' cottage. It was comfortable and light, with plenty of room, and we had a lovely space outdoors for meals together. We were lucky with the weather while we were there. The area around it is beautiful, and the beaches are a short drive away. There’s a trainline close by. Trains aren’t very frequent, but they’re fun to watch. The owner and housekeeper were friendly and helpful, and all the COVID precautions were reassuring. I hope we can come back with the whole family and use both cottages and the farmhouse when circumstances allow.

Our host kindly let us stay until the evening on our last day because we had a later train. The house was perfect for our team, which was taking part in the IMechE UAS Challenge 2017 at the nearby airfield. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It was an easy walk to our destination, the nearest pub, the beach and a waterfall. Absolutely fantastic!

Great facilities, with a train station right on your doorstep. This fantastic holiday home is ideally placed for Harlech, Barmouth and Shell Island. The owners adapted brilliantly to the Covid 19 situation, and we felt safe there.

Cute, cosy cottage in a great spot, with the beach only a very short drive away. The beds could be more comfortable, but it seemed decently clean and was a good place to stay.
