The views are beautiful, the location is ideal for most things, and there's lots of parking. The hosts are lovely too. It's a gorgeous, very spacious farmhouse, spotlessly clean and big enough for large families or friends. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with a huge kitchen, two reception rooms, a utility room, modern bathrooms throughout and a hot tub.

The welcome treats were lovely, thank you. We had a great week with four families, and although there were lots of us, it never felt crowded. The hot tub was amazing, and we even saw stars while relaxing in it at night.

There are lovely places to visit nearby. Bala Lake is gorgeous and 26 minutes away, and Rhug farm shop is just 8 minutes away, with AMAZING Bison Burgers. We stayed Sat 2nd - Sat 9th, six adults and one baby, and the property had plenty of spacious rooms, two living rooms, a big dining table for family meals and a hot tub to relax in after a day out. It's huge and worked well for us. One living room is a gaming room, but there was very little to play, so I'd bring your own Wii and/or Ps3 games. For a quiet night in, bring DVDs too. The free Wi-Fi is shared with the campsite behind the property, so streaming isn't allowed, and there aren't many DVDs there. Those are small things when most of us are there for the scenery, not to stay indoors. I have no complaints. The lovely owners made us feel welcome and chatted with us when we arrived, a few days in and when we left. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise, with freshly made Butter, tasty yoghurts and eggs for breakfast. For a large family wanting a beautiful, calm getaway together with room for everyone to have some space, I'd recommend this place without hesitation. Thanks again!
