Peter & Linda are a lovely couple who run this very clean B&B. It’s close to the beach and shops, and we’ll definitely return. They’re pet friendly with no extra charge for our little doggie, who got a sausage with breakfast every day, a lovely touch. There was a good breakfast choice too.

Peter & Linda were superb hosts, and nothing was too much trouble at Ashdale Guest House. We had a wonderful stay, with a fantastic breakfast and quiet, comfortable rooms. Everything is within walking distance, and the place is extremely pet friendly. The dogs got a sausage each morning! We’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

We felt comfortable for our whole stay. The guest house had a cosy atmosphere, welcoming owners and delicious food, and we were really lucky to find it. Being dog-friendly is another big plus, and something we really value. We’ll definitely come again 🥰

Teddy enjoyed getting a sausage with breakfast, and we enjoyed the excellent breakfast and evening meals. The place was lovely and clean. Peter and Linda were lovely hosts and made Linda Keith Woodcock and Teddy the dog 🐕 feel very welcome at Ashdale Guest house. Highly recommended.

Dogs are very welcome, which is naturally a downside if you don’t like them. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would happily return if the chance comes up. Peter is an enthusiastic, capable amateur chef, and the food was beautifully cooked. Breakfast could keep you going all day; evening meals are chosen from three daily options and booked in the morning. The guest house isn’t licensed, but guests are encouraged to bring their own bottles.
