Bella Vista Hotel and Restaurant

Our four-poster room was lovely, and the staff were happy to help with anything. The location is ideal. We’ll definitely book again.

We booked Bella vista for one night after going to the soul on the pier in the afternoon, and I wasn’t expecting much for what we paid. The room, number 5, completely surprised me. It was spacious and very clean, with a comfy four-poster bed, modern bathroom, lovely furniture and two great chairs looking out at the front. The outside looks nice too, reception was good, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. Tea, coffee and a kettle were provided, and it’s a three-minute walk to the pier. I’ll definitely return. Car parking may be a five-minute walk away.

The staff are wonderful and the location is great. The rooms are warm, dry, clean and tidy, though a little tired and dated. I’d stay here again.

We stayed four nights in room no6 and had a great sea view. The host was nice, and the bed and loo were clean. The room could use some TLC, with wallpaper needing pasting in places and a shower curtain that should be changed. It also needed cleaning above head height. There was no room service clean during our stay, but we still enjoyed the stay and holiday.
