We don't normally leave somewhere feeling sad to go, but John and Wendy made us feel like good friends. They were exceptional hosts, from asking about our day and plans when we arrived to sharing their local knowledge of views, places to eat and the usual tourist spots after breakfast. Wendy showed us to a clean, bright and airy room with a spacious bathroom and double shower. Breakfast was superb and freshly cooked each morning. What a gem, we'd happily stay again. Breakfast was superb, and John and Wendy gave us useful tips for making the most of our North Wales visit. The accommodation was wonderful, with sea views, and they were excellent hosts.

We'd only booked a last-minute weekend away, but liked the room and service enough to add another night. It was lovely and clean, with everything we needed, and breakfast was amazing. John and Wendy made us feel very welcome and couldn't have done more. I'd recommend staying here, and we'll definitely return.

The views were outstanding, and John and Wendy were amazing hosts who made sure nothing was too much trouble. The location is quiet, on a steep hill or lane, and the rooms are real quality. There are three rooms in the house, plus converted stables just a spit away for self-catering. The slope could be too much for anyone with walking difficulties, but I'm 70 and managed the walk up and down every day. Llandudno promenade is less than a five-minute drive, and parking is free all the way down to the roundabout. We had a great few days with fabulous hosts.
