Evans Hotel

The good parts were the breakfast, generally helpful staff, decent entertainment and the company we had. Our driver was great, too. But the owner or manager laid down the rules before we even got off the coach and kept at it throughout the holiday. There were far too many, considering we were paying guests. The evening meals didn't impress me, and the bread portion was just half a slice. The rooms were clean but dated and needed more power points. For a drink at the bar, you had to put a flag in a vase, and even bingo came with rules. The owner also didn't like anyone putting a chair on the dance floor. My husband even asked one staff member why she was being so nasty to everyone. I wouldn't go back.

The staff have been super friendly and helpful, and so far our four-day coach trip with Edwards has been really nice. The food has been good, with plenty of choice, and served nice and hot. I'm here with my elderly mother. Our room is small but clean and has everything we need. It looks out at the back of the hotel, which isn't a particularly good view, and there's a lift, which is great. Our room attendant is lovely and helpful. It's nice to see real people again.

I've brought a coach party here twice now, and Peter and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The beds are comfortable, there's plenty of hot water, and the place was clean. We also enjoyed the good, homely cooked food. The entertainment was very good, especially on Sunday night, when it had us all in stitches. I'll definitely stay again when I'm in Llandudno, and you should too.

Peter and his team made our five-day coach holiday enjoyable with their friendly, welcoming manner. Management and staff were lovely, and Colette and Chelsea were fantastic waitresses. The food was excellent. A really friendly place.
