We stayed for four nights and would definitely come again. The rooms were lovely, and the friendly staff provided excellent service at breakfast and dinner. Safety measures were good, including wearing masks around the hotel. The waiting room and bar are lovely.

Breakfast was buffet style and lovely, and the staff were friendly and looked after us well. When we had a problem with our room, they moved us to one with a sea view at no extra charge. There is a ramp and a lift to all floors, but the showers aren't suitable for disabled guests. If they had a shower a disabled person could use easily, I'd stay all the time.

The location was the one good thing. We didn't stay. The rooms were small, and the basement dining room felt dark and gloomy; the hotel had no atmosphere. Parking was very limited and difficult, and the car park was covered in litter. The building was wrapped in scaffolding while roof work was underway. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay at present.

The dinner menu was limited. Breakfast was just about okay if you don't mind canned tomatoes and boiled mushrooms. The sausages could be better too, they need turning while they cook.

I stayed a few days recently. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were good, and breakfast was up to a good standard despite the current COVID dining restrictions. The rear parking is limited, but it's a must during busy periods. Dinner was especially good value, with a very good menu and a choice of two or three courses.
