Min y Don Llandudno

The breakfasts were a highlight, with a huge menu that included smoked salmon and eggs cooked just the way you like them. My husband had a cooked breakfast each day, while I chose toast with eggs or beans. We were given menus to fill in daily. Our second-floor suite was enormous, with a super king bed, large flat-screen TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix connectivity, and spotless bedroom, shower room and dressing room. The shower room had his and hers sinks, plus a fabulous shower and good-quality shampoo and shower gel. The bed was comfortable, with soft pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets and duvet cover. Rhein showed us how everything in the room worked and shared useful tips about local restaurants and places to go. Theresa made us feel welcome and asked what quilt we’d prefer so we’d be warm enough. She topped up the room each day with good-quality tea, coffee, hot chocolate and tasty biscuits. The fridge had fresh milk and bottled water too. Our parking space was ready when we arrived, and Rhein greeted us there. The kind, hospitable owners went the extra mile to make our stay feel perfect. Min Y Don is a five-star guest house with ten-star owners, and we wouldn’t choose anywhere else when we return to Llandudno. Thank you both.

From our two large windows, we had wonderful views of the pier and the sweep of the bay. Our room was very clean, with a large en-suite, a TV with Netflix, and tea and coffee facilities along with milk, water and biscuits. We stayed for a couple of nights in August and arrived early. It turned out to be Theresa's birthday, but our hosts still made us feel very welcome. Rhein even insisted on carrying our bag up to the room. Breakfast was ordered the evening before, and although I chose quite a large plate, it was cooked perfectly, hash browns included. Yes, we’ll be back!

We had a wonderful three-night stay and will be back. Parking was a bonus, and the room had a fridge, fresh milk, bottled water, fluffy towels and toiletries. Bedroom 301 was clean, spacious and fabulous, and we started each day with a freshly cooked breakfast. Teresa and Rhein were perfect hosts and went out of their way to make us feel at home. What a gem of a place.

The hosts have thought of everything to help guests have a good stay. They’re both professional and friendly, and I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel. We’ve had another wonderful stay at Min y Don. The location and views are great, breakfast has a good choice and is cooked perfectly, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It must be the cleanest hotel in the UK.
