The Wilton Hotel

Jo and Paul are extremely friendly and helpful, and we’ll definitely stay again. Our front-facing room overlooked the Pier and was clean and comfortable, with complimentary refreshments and good free WiFi. The location makes it easy to reach the buses and town. Breakfast had a good selection and the food was excellent. Thank you.

The owner was lovely and made us feel welcome, and we appreciated being upgraded from a double to a superior suite. Breakfast was nice, though fresh pastries from the nearby bakeries would have been better than the long-life packaged ones. There’s no bar or room fridge, although the owner said we could bring drinks into the room. A fridge would have been a nice touch for a 4 star hotel. Parking was a worry throughout our seven-night stay: the hotel has 15 rooms but only about half as many spaces. The main problem was the cleaning. Our floors weren’t regularly hoovered and the toilets weren’t cleaned during the whole week. Crumbs from a takeaway on one of our first nights stayed there for the rest of the stay. These are basic things for a hotel, in my opinion. We paid £630 for the seven nights, but when we left we had to hand the keys to the owner’s partner. The owner didn’t see us off or have a chance to hear our feedback, and we weren’t thanked for staying. The cleaning staff need to be reviewed. With a few changes like these, we’d stay again.

The Wilton was a fantastic stay, with great accommodation, a lovely room, and wonderful owners. Breakfast was great too, and everything gets 10/10 from us. The beach, pier, and land train around the Great Orme are all very close. The train is well worth taking. We’d love to stay again. Thank you!

The owners were so friendly, and we loved our two-night stay. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the attractions, including the Pier, Orme tramway, beach, and central shopping area. Our room was spacious and spotless, the bed was comfy, and breakfast was great. I especially love it when they offer Kippers!
