The hosts were warm and welcoming, and everything felt clean and fresh. I woke up to the tide coming in from a comfortable bed in this absolutely divine shepherd's cottage. Set on a hilltop, it was lovely to sit with a morning cuppa and take in the view, like a little slice of heaven. There were thoughtful touches too, including fresh flowers and eggs. Highly recommended.

Still Waters is a beautiful place that's clearly much loved and cared for. We spent the bank holiday weekend in the shepherds hut, which is furnished to a very high standard and feels like a petite cottage with everything you need. From the hut, and from bed, the view of the Gower peninsula is unbeatable. It's a great base near beaches and a long coastal path for cycling. The owners are friendly and attentive.

We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. The hill is steep, but we still left the car behind and walked a few minutes down to the Coastal path. It was a lovely, traffic-free walk in either direction. Our Gower View room had a comfortable bed and thoughtful touches, including Welsh cakes and Sweet Peas from the garden. It's well equipped for self-catering, and local restaurants will deliver. Lovely host family.

Bluebell Cottage is comfortable and unfussy, which makes it a relaxing place to stay. The views across the Gower peninsula are amazing, and shops and restaurants aren't far away. It's always lovely visiting Vic and his family.

It's a good place to stay for the Great Welsh Marathon, though it's up a steep hill, which is why you get the view. The facilities were excellent for catering for ourselves, and there were no problems getting there by car. We found a trip to Llanelli was great for evening food.
