Monarfon

It was so good that we’ve already booked a week for next year. The house was lovely, with a garden for the dog to explore, and it’s handy for several small villages and bays nearby. The bedrooms and bathrooms were warm, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was well presented and there for our stay. My only moan is that the knives need sharpening. A lovely place for a lovely weekend.

The enclosed, secure garden was great for our dog, and the keypad entry meant we didn't have to carry keys when we went out. The house is in a great location, clean, bright and airy, with all the facilities we needed for a fabulous week. We'd definitely stay again.

The house was spacious, adequately furnished and had three toilets, and the location was handy for the beach, shops, children's playground and takeaway outlets. But it was disappointing and not clean. The carpet was covered in dog hair, we think we saw a rat in the garden, and we found a cockroach on the front door mat. There was no dishwasher in the kitchen.

The location is very good, but we wouldn't recommend staying here. It was dirty, with mould, dog hair, spiders and mouse droppings. Several things need maintenance, and some areas seem dangerous, especially for children. When we told the owner about the condition, he said the furniture, including the settee, is only moved once a year for cleaning. That says it all. Avoid!
