Nant Ddu Lodge Hotel

The restaurant was the highlight for me. I had the best evening meal I’ve ever had, and the young staff were incredible, always polite and smiling. We booked the Snowdrop special offer for £130, which covered bed, breakfast, dinner and use of the spa, so it was really good value. The rooms feel a bit dated, and the pool changing rooms could do with renovation, but I enjoyed every minute and would recommend a stay.

Lunch was fantastic, with a great choice of dishes and beautiful food. I also had a fabulous facial and shoulder massage, and enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi, pool area and quiet room. The staff were really lovely. It made for a very relaxing spa day.

We all liked our massages, and lunch was lovely. The staff were friendly too. We came with friends for a spa day using an offer that included a treatment, facilities and a light lunch. The hotel is lovely, easy to find and surrounded by beautiful grounds. The facilities need renovation, though: the changing rooms are very small, and the jacuzzi barely worked, with more tiles missing than still in place. Such a shame.

After a day hiking, the tasty food at the restaurant was welcome, and the staff were generally friendly and accommodating. Service for our party of 11 was a little slow at times. Some of us used the gym and pool, which were adequate. Rooms varied, and a few still need refreshing. The owners could make more of corporate tourism and invest further in updating the hotel.
