The location was exactly what we wanted: quiet and secluded, yet close enough to Beaumaris for basic supplies or a meal out. We stayed in August 2023, my wife, our three kids aged 13, 14, and 16, and me. The cottage has a fantastic view across the Menai Strait to the Snowdonia mountains. Inside, it was spotless, with much larger bedrooms, bathroom and lounge than you'd expect. The kitchen and dining area easily fit 5, and the kitchen is very well equipped, with a washing machine, dishwasher and tumble drier. The downside is limited worktop space, which made cooking for 5 a bit stressful at times, though we managed. There's a huge hot water tank, plenty for showers, and the wi-fi averaged about 30Mb/s, far more than I expected in such a rural place. If you’re gluten intolerant like us, the fish and chip shop in Beaumaris has a fantastic selection of gluten free options. This is probably our favourite holiday cottage so far, and we'll definitely be back next year.
