Paula was a great host, always available to clarify anything. The house has loads of rooms and sleeping areas that are nicely separated. There are plenty of cots and travel cots for children, plus a toddler bed. The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, plates, and cutlery for the kids too. Having a washer and tumble dryer meant we could pack light. The kids loved the lovely warm pool, and the hot tub had great river views.

We spent a wonderful fortnight here, with plenty of space indoors and an annexe that worked perfectly for our newly-weds. The outdoor hot tub was probably our favourite. We used it every day, and it was really hot, which was great in the rain. We watched the tide ebb and flow and saw and heard the geese coming and going. The pool was always lovely and warm, and the sauna was a treat too. The TV in the master bedroom wasn’t working when we arrived, but Paula replaced it the next day. Y Dorlan is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. You’ll love it!

We had the most amazing two-week holiday. There are so many rooms you could get lost, and enough space for everyone to have plenty of privacy, whatever the size of your party. The pool, sauna, hot tub, games room, and huge garden mean you don’t even have to leave the house if you don’t want to. The owners were really accommodating, and nothing was a bother.

We were 11 and had a nice time, and the indoor pool was good. The check-in time of 5pm felt a bit late, and the 9:30am check-out a bit early. Some areas could have been cleaned better.

A really nice stay in a lovely place. The views were lovely, and we had everything we could wish for, including a great pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. I’d highly recommend it.
