From our cottage at Beudy Bach, we could watch butterflies, bees, cows and sheep, with gorgeous countryside all around. It was so peaceful, and the amenities were great. It really felt like a home from home. I don't want to leave 🥺
Gwen and her family were so kind and helped whenever we needed them. We stayed with our daughter, son-in-law and two older grandchildren, and found the cottage beautiful and clean. The hot tub and games room were lovely extras. A really relaxing family holiday, first class. We'll definitely be back.
Lampeter is only about a mile away, with shops, pubs, takeaways, a Sainsburys and a Co-op. The farm dogs were friendly, and Gwen and Dai made us feel very welcome. They even let us see the cows and newborn calves in the milking sheds. Our week in Beudy Bach was lovely: the cottage was spotless on arrival, spacious and well equipped, with beautiful countryside views. We also appreciated the cake and fresh milk they left for us. Sitting in the hot tub and looking at the stars was a real treat.
Spectacular views, and a large, comfortable cottage with beautiful decor and everything we needed. We definitely plan to come back.
The hot tub was a real draw, and it was available even in November. When I stayed at the end of November 2021, the water was 36.5°C while it was only 4°C outside, which made for a lovely experience. I chose Beudy Bach, a fully equipped two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with fast Wi-Fi, a fireplace, washing machine and dishwasher. Gwarffynnon is a dairy farm with two self-catering cottages, and it seems suited to a short or long stay in any season. My five days there were sunny, though the mornings were frosty. The location is ideal, close to Lampeter, where there are a Co-op, Sainsbury's, two petrol stations and other amenities. Jeno, the friendly Labrador Retriever, made the stay even nicer. I highly recommend Gwarffynnon. It really is worth a holiday.
