The breakfast was cooked just right, and it was the hottest we’ve had anywhere. Such a nice start to the day. Marian was warm and welcoming, and the Shepherds Hut felt cosy and full of character, with everything we needed. We’d happily recommend staying here, either in the hut or the farmhouse.

Cassie the dog was lovely, and so were the owners. We spent three nights in the cottage, which was roomy, clean, and warm. Because of the covid restrictions, they brought a hearty breakfast to our room. We’d definitely book here again if we’re in the area.

We saw the cows lining up for milking and got a really interesting glimpse of everyday farm life. The hosts were fabulous and so helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the dogs were lovely. Highly recommend!

The peaceful setting and morning views were a treat, especially with a full cooked breakfast, toast, cereal, and fruit. We stayed in the Shepards Hut beside the main farmhouse, which was spotless, and Marian was happy for us to check in very late. Fresh milk and Welsh cakes were waiting for us, a lovely local touch. Fishguard port is about 50 minutes away, so it worked well after getting off the ferry. I’d recommend it to anyone passing through or wanting a quiet break.

There’s lots of space on this working farm, with good walks and good food. Our room was really comfortable, and the owners were so friendly and ready to help with anything. We had a lovely stay, thank you.
