The cottage felt like home and had everything we needed, with peaceful gardens all around. We slept well, and on departure day the hostess brought us a generous, beautifully served three-course breakfast. There was fresh fruit salad, cereal and yoghurt, then a cooked breakfast made with local produce, plus lovely homemade bread, honey and marmalade. She was so caring and attentive throughout, and really made us feel at home. We’ll definitely be back.

If you want a relaxing weekend and some fresh air, this is a lovely spot. The host was wonderful, the rooms were nice, the heating was decent, and there was plenty of parking. What more do you need?

Anne Owen was such a gracious, accommodating host. I was lucky to book my stay here. The place is beautiful and clearly well maintained. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

A great base for exploring the coast or countryside, and I’ll book again as soon as I can. The traditional cottage is lovely, with a properly equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge with a warm fire. There was plenty of room for two or a small family. The hospital was brilliant, and breakfast was delicious. Thank you!

I’ve stayed with Anne at Ffernyfelin several times, and she and her staff have always been welcoming, approachable and accommodating of my needs as a pilgrim. The beautiful views and quiet, peaceful setting made the accommodation as enjoyable as the pilgrimage itself, with all the comforts I needed. I can’t wait to return. Thank you, Anne. Xx
