Lochearnhead Loch Side

We booked two nights in April and ended up staying for a week. That probably says it all. The view is stunning, the rooms are comfortable and the food is superb. Lynne and the whole team, from catering and room service to the cleaners, took such good care of us. Their warmth felt completely genuine. Thanks so much, we can’t wait to return.

After a long day fishing, it was great to relax with a drink and some food in the bar. The bedroom was lovely and the view from it was terrific. A socket by the bed would have been handy. The bathroom could use an update, though it was perfectly fine for a night or two. Comfortable stay.

I was in the area for a week of hill walking and was glad I picked the Clachan as my base. My room overlooking the loch was quiet and clean, with great views. In the evenings, there was always good company, and the food and service in the bar and restaurant were excellent. Lynn, Adele and the rest of the staff made me feel welcome from the start. If you’re staying nearby or just passing through, I’d happily recommend stopping here.

Our angling club used the hotel as a base for a long weekend. My wife, son and a great group of friends came along too. We arrived on Thursday and headed home on Sunday. Lynn, the manager, went above and beyond to make the whole stay a success. The staff were attentive, and the Chef cooked food that was nothing short of amazing. Thanks, we’ll be back soon.
