The location was quiet and peaceful, and the room worked well for three people, with good space and facilities. It was generally very clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The stained window blinds should be replaced, and the large crack in the bathroom floor needs repairing. It would also help to have the hotel's name at the entrance, and the outside could use some improvement.

The bathroom has no proper door, just a sliding glass panel with no lock, sound or smell privacy. That really sucks. The rooms are very small, with no table or desk and just one folding chair with nowhere to put it. There's plenty of little wear and tear, and it doesn't feel well maintained or deep cleaned often enough. The kitchen is awkward to use. On the plus side, the location is perfect, with the metro, Paddington, Hyde Park, pubs, restaurants and shops all nearby. The AC works well, which isn't standard, and the staff were very nice, polite and helpful.

We used the room as a base for sightseeing, since there are attractions, services and dining options close by. It stayed surprisingly warm even with the windows open. We really enjoyed our stay and found it comfortable, with a good amount of space and equipment for four adults. The bathroom's frosted glass doors made privacy a bit tricky with teenagers and adults, but it was manageable. Beds were made daily, towels changed when we asked, and the POD coffee machine was handy for our first coffee each morning.

The staff were friendly and helpful in every way, and Hyde Park is just steps away. The Underground is about five minutes on foot. Our apartment at 39 Studios was clean and had everything we needed, including a useful little kitchen in every room, which was a big plus with the family. We had an amazing getaway and would highly recommend it to families.
