Abbey Point Hotel

We had zero issues during our stay at the Abbey Point Hotel. The location was spot on, the food was great, and there was an excellent beer selection. Our room was very clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly, responsive and happy to help. Highly recommend.

I’m baffled by reviews giving this more than 2 stars. I had to find emergency accommodation nearby and booked here. The sheets were bloodstained. When I asked for clean ones, the replacements also had old blood stains, as did the next ones offered. I had to inspect sheets myself in their laundry room to find clean ones. The Abbey Point Hotel staff didn’t seem to understand they should apologise for bloodstained sheets until I prompted them. The entrance area looked unclean, seedy and sinister, and the man there gave the same impression. The “cafe” food in the entrance looked inedible, and sullen-looking men were always sitting at the tables on the way to the room. Getting here from the station means walking along stretches of polluted, unsafe motorway road. There’s absolutely nowhere nearby to get food. The room had extremely thin walls, and the road outside was noisy too. If your standards for yourself and your surroundings are extremely low, you might somehow tolerate it. But if you’re an ordinary person who needs somewhere in a pinch, don’t choose this place.

A hidden gem for Wembley Stadium, just 8 mins in an Uber. The staff are lovely, the room was spotless and had everything you could need. The microwave, mini fridge and USB charging ports came in handy, especially since I’d forgotten my plug. I’ll definitely stay here again.

We had a family room for our 1 night stay, and it was a great size and extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was delicious, excellent value and served in very generous portions. We’d definitely come back.
