The flat was a mixed bag. It had room for all six of us at a reasonable price, and the kitchen was well stocked for meals at home. There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and the flats are fairly close to a tube station. But in the summer heat, we couldn’t ventilate the place properly, which made it almost unbearable. We figured out a trick with a few windows, and there were lots of fans, but it still wasn’t cool enough. We also couldn’t open the balcony door, which was ridiculous. The mattresses were terrible and made sleeping difficult every night. With some money spent on it, this could be a great place.

For the price, I expected the apartments to be in better shape. The place wasn’t cleaned very thoroughly and could use maintenance. The parquet was worn and creaked with every step, and the bathroom needed a few minor repairs. There’s plenty of space, a good location, and everything you need for a short stay. Noise was the other problem: the building is poorly insulated, so street sounds and noise from inside carry through. I could hear every elevator trip from my bed.

It’s in a nice location to use as a base, but the apartment needed maintenance. Noise from outside and the neighbors was a problem, and the wooden floor creaked terribly. Paint was peeling in the bathroom, and there were very few kitchen utensils.

The rooms smell bad, it’s hot all day, and you can’t use the terraces. Noise from inside and outside is really loud. Avoid it, it’s awful, and there’s more.

It was very old and dirty. Unless they renovate the apartment, I DO NOT recommend it 🤮
