Albro House Hotel

The room was fairly clean, but I could hear noise from the room next door and slept badly both nights. Changing rooms costs £45 per night each time, and the budget option means sharing a bathroom. They also charge extra to store luggage after checkout. For what you get, this felt overpriced. If you’re trying to save, I’d book a decent youth hostel or stay somewhere convenient but farther from central London.

The weak Wi-Fi was the one letdown. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay, and I’d definitely come back. It’s easy to reach from Paddington station, with plenty of restaurants and markets close by. The staff were super nice and helpful.

The shower was really good and the bed pretty comfortable. My little room had tea and coffee, and the staff were very friendly. There were a few knocks and scuffs, but nothing beyond acceptable. It was quiet at night, so I slept well. The price was very reasonable, and the service was good too. I’d stay again. Room 7.

The building has a quintessentially London exterior, and inside the rooms were exceptionally clean with new bathrooms. Staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Paddington station is less than a five-minute walk away. A great experience, highly recommend!
