We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. It's a great location in Kilburn, with grocery shops and cafes nearby, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Finding the place for deliveries wasn't easy, though, and the rooms were smaller than the photos suggested. The apartment feels small for a longer stay, over two weeks. The Overground runs right by the hotel, so the noise might bother people in rooms facing the train. I'd still stay again.
I booked a two-bedroom apartment for two nights so wedding guests could stay near our venue and gather to eat and sort out last-minute details. When I arrived, I had to clean the floors and walls because I was embarrassed to let them stay there. There were only a few plates and cups and no cutlery, so getting together over food wasn't really possible. We also wanted to surprise one of the bridesmaids with a cake and a few friends for her 18th birthday, since she was giving up her day to be a bridesmaid. The woman at the desk was very rude. She greeted me with, “now listen to me,” and then a security man knocked on the door to ask who was inside. It felt more like a bail hostel than an apartment. Never again. I cancelled the Marriott for this place, and regret it. Avoid at all costs.
I ended up booking somewhere else. I was told I couldn't reserve online or by phone, and would have to download and fill out a PDF form, then send a photo of my ID. I gave up.
The staff are very friendly, especially Mr Ahmed. This is the best hotel.
