Geoff’s quite a character and has some great stories. The staff were nice, too. I was in town for a concert that finished after the last train home, so I just needed somewhere to kip for the night. The room was clean and warm, with crisp white linen and a lovely comfortable bed.

The stairs are steep, and the rooms are on the top floor with no lift. Ours had one window, a bathroom, one twin bed and one queen bed, plus an electric kettle, microwave, mini fridge and mini TV that worked fine. The mattresses were okay, and the carpet looked good. It’s a short walk from a nearby bus stop, handy if you’re carrying lots of bags, and seems fine if you’re used to budget travel and mostly plan to be out all day. We found it just about acceptable for the price. The first impression wasn’t great. The walls were stained, the heating didn’t work, and the window wasn’t sealed properly. There was a radiator that didn’t work either, so they’d provided a small electric heater. Some outlets were dead. The toilet seat moved when you sat down. Twice I thought I was fine, then it shifted.

Very close to Tottenham stadium. Coys. There was no reception when we arrived, but a kind lady helped us. The room was tiny, just a bed, sink and TV, and you don’t get your own toilet. The peaceful garden and its cute cats 🐈 are what kept this from being a three-star stay. 🐈🐈🐈🐈

The toilet and kitchen were fine, though both quite small and suitable enough for one night. The bed was comfortable, even without a headboard 😀. The room itself was okay, but the window and contents were dirty, with stains on the curtains and an unwashed window.
