The location is fairly close to the city center, and the mornings were peaceful. Still, I personally wouldn’t stay here again. I didn’t feel safe, especially at night, when men in dark, baggy clothes were always hanging around outside the doors and making quite a bit of noise. For the quality of the room, we felt overcharged.
It’s conveniently located near Stepney green station and mile end station. The room itself was decent in size, but the apartment was quite dirty and there were only two bathrooms for what I think were six or seven rooms. The toilet was the biggest problem. I couldn’t sit on the WC because the opposite wall got in the way, so I had to stand or sit on the side. If you’re staying more than a couple of days and aren’t very flexible, I’d recommend not booking a room here.
The ad looks good, but apart from the location, everything was bad. The boiler was old and needed frequent fixing, the toilets were cramped, there was noise from children, and some landlords seemed lawless. I’d avoid living here.
This was an awful shared property and nothing like the listing suggested. The room was dilapidated, and the toilet and shower were shared, with no loo roll and a showerhead too high to reach safely. There was no ensuite as advertised. I’d specified my arrival time, but nobody was there to let me in. A complete shambles. It was cheap, but I wouldn’t use it again.
The location is nice, but the place feels like a ghetto. Laundry was hanging outside the apartments, a guy was sitting there, probably dealing dope, and people were shouting outside at all hours of the night. Special ..
