Aparthotel Adagio London Stratford

The room was spotless and much quieter at night than I expected, so I got some decent sleep. It felt more like a sleek studio than a cramped hotel room, and the kitchenette came in handy for quick breakfasts and keeping drinks cold. The front desk team were always smiling and welcoming when we passed by. With Westfield and the tube station just a short walk away, central London was easy to reach. If you’re staying in Stratford, this is the place for me. I’ll book again next time I’m in London.

The TV didn’t have any working channels. Staff said there were technical issues affecting every guest room. On our second booking we had a normal room, but a damaged clothes hanger in the closet gave me two small cuts on my fingers. I felt how sharp it was before pulling my clothes over it with any force, otherwise the cut could have been deep. On the first booking, we were assigned an “Accessible” room that I hadn’t requested, and nobody told us at check-in. We only realized after going inside. We were too tired to raise it right away, so I asked staff the next day. I was told the website pictures were for reference only and that I should have requested a NORMAL room and noted that I did NOT want an Accessible Room. That’s ridiculous. A hotel should give you a normal room by default unless you select or ask for an accessible one. The staff member I spoke to didn’t apologize and made it sound like my fault. I agree with another guest’s comment about there being “Zero willingness to help, just pure hostility with a creepy smile.” We’ve stayed in hotels, apartments, and serviced apartments before, but didn’t get the welcome or pleasant stay we’ve had elsewhere. This wasn’t our first trip to London.

The beds were comfortable, and the air-conditioned room was quiet. We had a well-equipped apartment with great views over London, handy for Stratford International station and Westfield. The electric kettle had a small issue, but friendly staff got it sorted quickly.

We felt safe and well looked after in this lovely apartment. It was very clean and quiet, with no traffic noise or sounds from neighboring apartments. The staff were kind and helpful, and even put a pizza in the hotel oven for us. There was everything we needed, with rail links close by and the huge Westfield shopping centre only minutes away on foot.
