Apollo Hotel Kings Cross

The owners were helpful and responsive, and the location was great. We wanted to drop off our luggage before Check in time, so they checked whether our room had been cleaned and let us in early. They also let us use the fridge and provided a charger. The sheets were clean and the beds comfy. The windows didn't open, and there was mold in the bathroom. If you need somewhere to sleep, fresh yourself up and leave your luggage, Apollo hotel will be a good fit.

Being just a couple of minutes from King’s Cross made getting around by tube really easy. Check-in was quick after we rang the bell, and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and had tea, coffee and basic shower supplies. It was really hot during the heat wave; they provided a fan, but with no air conditioning it still stayed warm. The shower worked fine, though there was no cold water setting, only hot. A good option for a budget stay.

The location is handy, about a three-minute walk from Kings Cross train station. Check-in was easy, and the room was clean, though it got hot and was quite noisy. The bed was okay, but I wouldn’t want to spend more than a few nights sleeping on it.

The staff made our stay especially easy: they let us check in early, sorted out an issue quickly, and kept our luggage on the last day so we could explore without it. We had a small, comfortable room for two with a private bathroom, and the location near King’s Cross was great for seeing the city. I enjoyed our three days at Apollo Kings Cross Hotel.
