Check-in was excellent, and the apartment was clean and comfortable for our long weekend visiting our son at university in London. The central location worked well for everything we needed. There were no pillowcases when we arrived, but a couple of calls to housekeeping got that sorted. We had to manage plenty of stairs since there’s no lift. The kitchen could use more equipment: there were only two teaspoons, and more pans, crockery, and cutlery would help. Some maintenance is needed as well, including loose taps and a loose toilet.

The apartments are clean and nicely set up, with a bedroom, kitchen, and living room together. Do check that all the linen is there and that you have enough towels. They respond quickly and pleasantly when you ask for anything.

It’s furnished, but the flat feels a bit cramped and not very hygienic. The tube and bus station are quite close. If you don’t have to stay here, you could pick somewhere else.

The arsenal apartments looked quite presentable from the outside. I didn’t actually stay the night, but I’d recommend them to friends coming from abroad.

Clean apartments, and good ones.
