Percy, who looks after this small, friendly hotel, was always smiling and glad to help, whether I needed European plug adaptors or advice and information about parking. The service impressed me every day, with clean sheets and a full breakfast basket. My room was large and comfortable by London standards, with an office area, kitchen facilities, and a big separate shower room. Excellent value overall.

The assistant was always happy to help, and thanks to the team for hosting us this weekend. It was much appreciated. The customer service was pleasant, the price affordable, and the place is close to the shopping centre and local shops. I did notice a strange smell in the corridor, though, and couldn’t stand it, so I sprayed perfume in my room. Aside from that, everything was good.

Everything else was fab, but the hot water was only lukewarm, and I like a really hot shower. The room and bathroom were very clean, and Percy was polite and friendly.

Percy, the owner, is just lovely. We had a great stay, with a very cosy room and a bathroom that was as you'd expect.

A good, reasonable price and a great host. They provide a breakfast hamper in the room, and it’s within walking distance of East Croydon Station. Recommended.
