Barking Park Hotel

For the price, things seemed alright, and the secure-looking car park was very convenient. I had a decent room upstairs. One thing I'd suggest is dealing with the strong, odd food or restaurant-like smell in the passage upstairs. A table lamp or dimmer light would help as well. We struggled with the single very bright ceiling light.

The room was absolutely filthy, and I had the worst experience. The fridge was dirty, and although it was a bit hot yesterday, there was no air conditioning or fan. The window wouldn't open properly either. It was tiny, with no table or chairs, just a dirty bed, yet I was charged 67.50£. The shower was disgusting and very old, with rust and a high showerhead. I booked one night but lasted only three hours before leaving because the room wasn't fit to stay in. I would advise people to avoid it. It was a waste of money.

Please don't go here. It was a really bad experience for me: the place was very dirty, smelled awful, and the customer service wasn't good.

The price felt way too high for what we got, and I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here. The room was disgusting, with cigarette holes in the sheets that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The towels smelled terrible, and the bed creaked with every small movement. The bathroom might have been acceptable if people walking along the street couldn't see me showering through the window.
