Beautiful 1BD Garden Flat in Golders Green

We arrived at 4am with no reservation, and this was the only hotel that opened its door to us that night. The price was fine, the rooms were clean, and the staff were really friendly. Our room was extremely quiet. Thank you very much!

The hotel was in a great location, with easy access to town by underground or coach. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was basic but enough for everyone. The bed was large and comfortable enough for a couple of days, though I wouldn't want to stay in it for too long.

The room and hotel itself were generally okay, and the prices seemed decent. But the bin hadn't been emptied from the previous guests, and the bedclothes were a little stained. I'll think twice before booking again, mostly because of the front desk service. When I went in to confirm and pay, the man there was very rude. He said the room wouldn't cost the price I'd been quoted online and demanded proof before giving it to me at that rate. He couldn't seem to use the booking reference or PIN I'd received. He wanted to see which hotel I'd selected and proof of the price. He was unnecessarily rude to the person staying with me, too.

The hotel was fine for a short stay, with a spacious toilet and a reasonably equipped room. The interior is a little dated, though, and sound insulation is poor. Breakfast was acceptable, but a bit disappointing for us since we're used to having plenty, like ham, sausages or bacon. That's understandable given it's a traditional Jewish hotel. The location was good, with easy connections to the town centre and some good, reasonably priced restaurants nearby.
