The rooms are very basic, just a bed and a shared shower, with no air conditioning, lift, or breakfast. They're clean, though the place could use a paint job, and the price fits what you get. It's a good option if you'll be out in London most of the time and only need somewhere to sleep. It's right next to St. Pancras, so things are close by, but street noise can be an issue. The people are kind and the service is very good, which is why I'd give it 5/5.

We spent three weeks in an ensuite room and got a clean, quiet place with good Wi-Fi for a cheap price by booking direct. The pictures on the website matched what we found. It's a two-star hotel, so expect a small room, double bed, and bathroom. There's no lift, but reception was friendly. It's on a safe, quiet side street across from St Pancras station, and we slept well with the window open. Tesco, McDonald's, Burger King, and King's Cross station are a two-minute walk away, and the Piccadilly line goes straight to Heathrow. A great budget option, highly recommend.

For four adults, the room was barely big enough for two. We were crammed into a horrible basement room with nowhere to put our things, and the fan hung low enough that you could easily hit your head on it. The bathroom was so cramped that bending over the sink meant your backside hit the door. Booking.com’s photos must be from another time, because they don't show what we got. The location is the only good thing about this rundown, dated dump. I might not complain at £30 a night, but we paid over €350 for two nights. I'd rather sleep with the beggars around the corner. Do your homework and avoid it.

Every two minutes the underground metro made the place feel like it was shaking from an earthquake. There was hot water for showers, but the room was so dusty, and the TV was ridiculously tiny. I had to move furniture to find a charging point, and keeping the window open meant propping it with the trash can.
