The location is probably the hotel's main plus, close to the bus station and tram stop. But the room was much too small for two, and the balcony area was quite dirty. Outside traffic came through the poorly soundproofed windows, cold air slipped in through gaps, and I could hear people walking in the hallway. The bathroom was cramped too. Several shower fittings were rusty, and the hot water control didn't seem to work: the water stayed extremely hot whether I turned it left or right. There was only a three-pin socket, unlike the two-pin outlets common in Germany and elsewhere, and no adapter was provided, so guests need to buy one. The hotel also doesn't lend umbrellas for rainy days. For a four-star place, I don't think it deserves that rating.

For a short solo visit to central London, this was a convenient and reasonably priced option. The hotel is in a fairly quiet area, near the subway and lots of attractions. My single room was very small, though it had what I needed, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom that was actually larger than the room in proportion. Breakfast was very good and generous, with typical British choices as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, bread and pastries. The staff were helpful and nice, and the Wi-Fi worked very well.

The people here are so kind and attentive, and made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. The rooms are small, but clean and cozy. A lovely stay at Best Western Corner, I'd recommend it.

The location was perfect, and the staff were really friendly. Special thanks to the woman who checked us in on the afternoon of November 20th. The rooms were a little small, but clean and very well equipped. We had a great stay!

For about £175 on a Thursday in December, this didn't feel like good value. The hotel is very basic, and the small room could use some paint and general care. Noise came from the road, reception and other guests, and no earplugs were provided. The blackout curtains also left part of the window uncovered, so bright light came in all night.
