Bexley Village Hotel

Lucky and Nina, the owners, made me feel at home. They’re kind, helpful, and always up for a chat, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The listed building has been renovated into a lovely hotel with everything you could need. It was warm, homely, and incredibly clean. My room was gorgeous, with lovely fittings, and the bathroom had great lighting, a nice shower, and steady hot water. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world, and this beats them all. I didn’t want to leave. Five stars plus, and a big thank you to our hosts.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating, and the discounts they arranged at local places were a nice touch. We had a large, immaculate room, and the secondary glazing kept out the road noise, so we slept really well despite being in the middle of the village. There’s no parking at the hotel, but the station car park is about a 30-second walk away and costs only 1.50 for the day, so it was no trouble. We’d definitely stay again, not sure why we hadn’t before.

Good central spot for food and entertainment, with the train station just around the corner. Communication from the friendly hotel staff was excellent, check-in was easy, and the en-suite room was clean and well presented. I’d recommend it and stay again if I need to.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, though the hotel itself doesn’t have a restaurant. We were told several restaurants offered guest deals, but when we asked, they didn’t know about them. The Bexley village hotel was nicely presented, and our room was comfortable, if a bit small. We were also fairly close to the train traffic. Still, it was a good stay.
