Bright 1 Bedroom Flat in Brook Green

The familiar reception and bar staff, along with the chef, were lovely and very helpful. They were around most of the time, though one night we got back late and had to go through the beer garden. Breakfast has great options, the other menus do too, and the hotel bar has a good drinks selection. We were on the top floor, up 67 steps, and there’s no lift. The room was cosy with enough space. The minibar was full, there were plenty of snacks, and we had a coffee machine with pods, tea, milk, sugar and water. The bathroom toiletries were a good size, and you can buy them at reception. The shower didn’t have much pressure, and there was black mould in the grout. I tried cleaning it with the shower mat. The mat had been replaced when we returned, but the mould was still there. It’s about a six-minute walk to Hammersmith tube station. I’d stay again, but I’d check the grout.

Weronika looked after us so well. We stopped at the bar for a quick, easy breakfast with our toddler, and the place felt welcoming and comfortable. She even brought out a football for our two-year-old daughter to kick around. Thanks, guys.

The staff were fantastic, kind and attentive whenever I had a question or needed something. My bed was comfortable, and the room had plenty of coffee plus a stocked mini fridge with drinks for purchase. For a short stay on my own it worked well. With my girlfriend there, though, it would have felt cramped. The shower barely dribbled, which was my only real downside. I was on the top floor, so maybe that contributed to the low pressure. It was a positive stay overall, and I'd come back, but I'd ask for a room with better water pressure.

The bed was so comfortable that we woke up feeling properly rested, and we barely heard a thing from the pub downstairs. The room was even better than we expected, with lovely decor, big windows facing the park, a well-stocked minibar (though it was missing Frühling), and a deep tub with nice bath products. The staff made us feel welcome and were so kind. It felt like great value, and we’re coming back in a few days. Can’t wait. Thanks so much for looking after us.
